ARCH 102 - Principles of Architecture II

Based on a typical residential infill lot within the Houston neighborhood of Montrose, this project is developed from the conceptual thesis of spatial reflection while abiding by the International Residential Codes. Aimed at testing the spatial effects and domestic potential of the mirroring concept, the program, apertures, as well as the residents’ living experience within the construction have been organized around the reflection idea. The final structure is an organic whole where a concept from early-stage analysis helps reinforce and promote an easy style of living.
