City Symphony is a research project supported by Princeton University. It investigates landscape urbanism in New York City through a filmic lens. It integrates writings, images, drawings, and interviews to compose a narrative montage. Presented here is the image archive of the project, organized in homage to a new means of documentation in the digital age (i.e. a non-linear format of organization and information retrieval). Glimpses of the final book are provided by a video/moving image.
[Special thanks to Professor Christine Boyer at Princeton University, who provided major guidance to this project. Additionally, Professor Stan Allen from Princeton and Professor Signe Nielsen from Pratt also inspired me with their insights. The book design owes to my undergraduate class with Professor Reto Geiser at Rice University.]
